Rabbi Dr. Tirzah Firestone
Heal the intergenerational wounds of your lineage — through the rich lens of Kabbalistic wisdom and its profound and holy practices — to remember and fulfill your soul’s sacred purpose.
Do you trust in a cosmic plan?
Do you hold an unwavering innate knowledge that you came into this world with a divinely offered purpose you’re meant to fulfill — and yet it hasn’t completely revealed itself to you amid the stresses of daily life?
Beloved Rabbi Dr. Tirzah Firestone believes that when we’re born, our soul has already co-signed a blueprint for its purpose in coming into this lifetime.
Join Tirzah in her fresh new ancestral healing program, where she’ll share with you a very beautiful, very ancient sacred body of mystical wisdom that can help you remember and align with your soul’s path, distinct from any other.
In this 7-module course, Tirzah will combine the powerful and profound insights of a rich and holy wisdom tradition — Kabbalah — with a deep dive into personal and ancestral healing, to help you understand your soul’s journey and unlock the obstacles and the resources of the ancestral lineage you’ve come from...
… so you can align with the universal powers and do the work you’re meant to accomplish — which is uniquely yours to achieve.
And, in Tirzah’s new offering, this system of cosmic principles will hold and guide you as you enrich your intergenerational repair work.
Maybe there’s unmetabolized historical trauma that’s been embedded and inherited in your family for generations, that’s waiting to be healed.
When you clear historical burdens from your family system and liberate yourself and those who come after you from the deferred traumas that have been encumbering your lineage — you enable joy, inner peace, and meaning to become the cornerstones of your life.
You’ll also examine the destructive cultural patterns we’re working with in today’s world — for example, racism, misogyny, white supremacy, the abuse of power — all through the lens of this deep well of mystical wisdom, and the potent practices it contains.
And, throughout this heartful and healing experience, you’ll be training to become a wise and well ancestor yourself, so when you leave this life, you can offer your guidance to future generations.
It’s Time to Heal the Historical Traumas That Obscure Your True Radiance
It’s crucial, at this moment in history, to understand that our collective unhealed ancestral legacies and family traumas can be triggered or amplified by the ever-increasing social schisms in our world today.
Ancestral trauma can present as a disconnection from your life purpose, and may be preventing you from manifesting your deepest desires...
… while also stopping you from contributing to the collective healing of our world… and keeping you from fulfilling the Tikkun Olam (sacred repair work) we’re all here to do.
To assist you in the mystical healing process, Tirzah will guide you in a little-known technique used by the Kabbalists, the mystic sages, to connect you with your Maggid — the muse of your own divine wisdom.
You’ll work with the three Mother Letters — the elemental powers of fire, water, and air… the creative powers that were used to bring this world into existence. These feminine letters are archetypal forces, real entities that are also instruments of healing and insight.
Tirzah will take your hand with the utmost care and compassion, and lead you through ancient mystical practices — to prepare for a “good death,” which can not only reduce your fear of dying. A good death is also fundamental to becoming a wise and well ancestor when you leave this world.
And, you’ll have the experience of learning how to joyfully become an agent of healing for your own family bloodline in this life, to heal your personal, familial, and ancestral wounds and nourish healthier patterns.
In this 7-part healing journey, you’ll:
- Discover the ancient teachings of ancient Jewish mysticism as root medicine for healing ancestral trauma
- Begin to make sense of your life’s purpose and soul’s evolution
- Gain an understanding of your soul’s origin, and how your prenatal immersion in divine (cosmic) consciousness can help you discern true wisdom and love today
- Follow the thread from your soul to the collective soul of your family, to understand how your patterns and weaknesses are connected to those of your bloodline
- Identify and work to resolve your personal life riddle
- Explore the effects of deferred grief and unmetabolized trauma in your bloodline
- Understand your Tikkun Olam (repair of the world), and discover how the challenging collective issues in today’s world are integrally connected to your own personal healing
- Receive wisdom from the elder souls of your lineage
- Engage with your Maggid to access and channel divine wisdom
- Learn how the 3 Mother Letters, the elemental powers, are alive in your body and can empower you, uplift you, and help you heal
- Explore how to live well now so you can become a well and wise ancestor later
- Be guided in death practices to help you understand death as the soul’s graduation
- And more...
If you’ve been lucky enough to study with Tirzah before, you already know that she’s one of the warmest, wisest, most empathic and intimate teachers you could ever hope to work with.
She’s spent decades of her life devoted to the study of the mystical branches of Judaism, as well as the depth of ancestral healing. In this course, she’ll weave together a culmination of her two greatest passions — two wisdom streams that have never been presented in this way before.
This is a spectacular opportunity to take an unprecedented journey with Tirzah.
She’ll provide you with the tools you need to clear the density you’ve accrued on this planet. She’ll guide you through sacred visualizations, prayers, and meditations to help you access the ancestral plane and create lasting relationships with positive spiritual allies and ancestors.
And you can always count on her to inspire you toward clarity and courage… merely by showing up in her grounded, love-exuding presence.
What You’ll Discover in These 7 Modules
In this 7-part transformational intensive, Tirzah will guide you through the fundamental skills and wisdom you’ll need to repair the intergenerational wounds of your lineage so you’re free to do the sacred work you’re meant to accomplish in this life.
This course will feature teachings, training sessions, and experiential practices with Tirzah. Each session will build harmoniously upon the previous ones, so you’ll develop a complete holistic understanding of the practices, tools, and principles you’ll need to heal the ancestral wounds of your bloodline through the rich lens of Kabbalistic wisdom and its profound and holy practices.
Module 1: The Kabbalistic Journey of the Soul — What Is Your Life’s Riddle?
What is Kabbalah?
Kabbalah teaches about the origin of your soul, and the five levels of the soul.
In this opening session, you’ll discover the fundamental tenets of this ancient wisdom tradition... which has been transmitted for centuries.
Tirzah will share about how your spirit took embodied form in this world to awaken, heal, and become a translucent channel for divine wisdom. You’ll hear mystical stories that will help you understand the utter uniqueness of your soul — distinct from any other.
Tirzah will invite you to bring a lifetime “riddle” into your consciousness, and to see how it fits within an intergenerational context.
In this first module, you’ll:
- Learn about the ancient history of Kabbalah and the mysterious breakthrough in our era that made its secret teachings available for the first time to all truth seekers
- Gain an understanding of your soul’s origin, and how your prenatal immersion in divine (cosmic) consciousness can help you discern true wisdom and love today
- Explore the 5 levels of soul and begin an assessment of your own soul’s inherent strengths and weaknesses
- Understand how your patterns and weaknesses are connected to those of your bloodline
- Participate in a guided visualization to meet the elder souls of your lineage and receive their blessing to focus on a lifetime riddle that your soul is ready to engage and heal
Module 2: Healing Your Personal & Ancestral Wounds to Liberate Your Soul’s Radiance
In this module, Tirzah will share the ancient creation myth of Isaac Luria, The Shattering of Vessels, which is the origin of the term Tikkun Olam (repair of the world).
You’ll understand its meaning through the lens of depth psychology… that each of us comes into this world with specific tasks — sacred repair work that’s deeply connected to the wounds and challenges specific to you and your bloodline.
Tirzah will guide you through a visualization to help you identify the broken shards in your familial line. Understanding how they’re obscuring your soul’s radiance can help you surmount the obstacles embedded in your lineage.
And, building on Module 1, you’ll discover which level of your soul requires attention and healing.
This module will close with an extra 30-minute Ritual Lab, in which Tirzah will guide you to work with your Maggid as a Kaballistic tool that’s similar to Jung’s Active Imagination.
In this session, you’ll:
- Learn how to interpret the Kabbalistic myth of The Shattered Vessels psychologically, so it can shed light on your own life journey
- Experience a guided meditation to receive wisdom from the elder souls of your lineage
- Understand the terms Tikkun Halev (repair of the heart) and Tikkun Olam (repair of the world), and discover how the challenging collective issues in today’s world are integrally connected to your own personal healing
- Engage in the Maggid Practice — an esoteric process used by the ancient great Kabbalists to access and channel divine wisdom
Module 3: Three Mother Letters — The World’s Elemental Healing Powers
You’ll be introduced to the three Mother Letters from the most ancient Kabbalistic manuscript (called the Sefer Yetzirah, the Book of Formation). These three letters are the elemental powers… used in the formation of the world and as instruments of healing.
You’ll work with the first letter — Shin — the element of fire. Shin has roots in the earth and points you to the Nephesh soul… which relates to your embodiment, your appetite for life, and your pleasure and pain bodies. This is where addictions and physical attachments live.
You’ll also discover where the fire of your passion resides (or has burned out) in you and your ancestral legacy.
During this class, you’ll:
- Learn how the 3 Mother Letters, the elemental powers, are alive in your body and can empower you, uplift you, and help you heal
- Experience a guided meditation to meet Shin to gain information about the state of your physical health, passions, and appetite for life
- Understand what the “pain body” is, how we accrue it in our lifetimes, and how awareness and self-compassion can diminish and heal it
- Engage your Maggid in a practice called Aish Kodesh (Sacred Fire) and receive an empowerment (a chazakah) that enlivens your connection to your soul’s deepest passions, yearnings, and health
Module 4: Resolving the Deferred Grief & Trauma in Your Bloodline
What is a good death?
In this middle module, Tirzah will introduce the second Mother Letter, Mem, the element of water — where your tears of joy and grief, as well as your music, poetry, and the currents of your heart are sourced.
You’ll explore where the deferred historical grief and trauma of your family lineage may be frozen within you.
As you begin to study the Kabbalistic death practices, and the importance of a good death, Tirzah will show you how your ancestors and their wisdom can help you build a “ship of death”... so that when you pass from this world, you’ll have a conscious, peaceful, and wise death.
In this session, Tirzah will:
- Guide you in a meditation to meet Mem which reveals your soul’s deepest feelings of love, grief, and heartache
- Explain the effects of deferred grief and unmetabolized trauma in your bloodline
- Bring you into the presence of your Maggid and elders, to help you understand how your emotional pain and baggage did not begin with you
- Teach you letting-go practices
- Lead you into the study of Kabbalistic death practices... and the importance of a good death
Module 5: Unleashing Your Birthright of Light, Spirit & Connection to the Infinite
Tirzah will begin this class by introducing you to the third letter, Aleph, the element of air, or prana. You’ll learn about your birthright of light, spirit, and connection to the infinite... the limitless light Kabbalists call the Ein Sof — the dimension of sheer light.
You’ll discover how ancestral wisdom and ancestral trauma and fear patterns are passed down to us, and shape our approach to death.
And, you’ll explore the vital importance of community, humour, and love — which can assist you in alleviating fear… AND help you turn into light and become a translucent channel.
In this module, Tirzah will:
- Guide you in a meditation to meet Aleph which opens you to your soul’s birthright of light and irrevocable connection to the infinite
- Lead you in a meditation to awaken you to the concept of Ein Sof, limitless space, and Ein Sof Ohr, limitless light.
- Show you how community, humour, and love, as your allies, can assist you in life’s transitions, including death
- Offer you an approach to death that’s understood as the soul’s graduation
Module 6: Training to Become a Wise & Well Ancestor
In this session, you’ll approach the work of being an “ancestor in training” (a term coined by Malidoma Somé), and learn what it means to become a wise ancestor.
You’ll explore how to prepare for the next dimension, where you’ll be of service to your living relatives and the earth plane.
You’ll study sacred Kabbalistic teachings about death and the afterlife… and understand what happens, according to Kabbalah, when you consciously prepare for death...
… as well as what happens when a soul is unable to detach at death from its physical or emotional cravings, or when grief and trauma have been deferred.
This module will close with a Ritual Lab, in which Tirzah will take you through a guided visualization — a Journey of Crossing Over — to envision and lay the foundation for a good death…. one that’s both peaceful and sacred.
You’ll discover:
- The concept of disembodied entities… and why they attach to us
- What it means to become a wise and well ancestor
- Why the world pulls us toward addiction, war, and other violence, and how to approach these “hungry ghosts” (a phrase coined by Gabor Maté)
Module 7: Receiving Lifelong Tools for the Road Ahead
In this closing module, you’ll revisit the dimensions of soul and your life riddle — in light of what you received from your Maggid and death practice.
Tirzah will provide you with tools to help incorporate all the teachings of this course into lifelong practices. You’ll learn a powerful mantra of the Divine Names… to open the portal of each level of soul for further purification and healing.
Finally, you’ll engage in a practice that enlists your Maggid and ancestors to accelerate your journey of healing.
You’ll walk away from this session with:
- A sacred Hebrew mantra containing divine formulas that open and tune the 5 levels of soul to their highest frequency
- A broader context to understand your life riddle
- Cautionary advice and loving appreciations from your Maggid and elder souls… to help you on the path ahead
- A bundle of tools and practices to help you stay sharp and maintain your equilibrium in a tumultuous world — as you continue growing into your own eldership

This course was so much more than I ever imagined. I now have such peace in my life and in a difficult relationship that has been a struggle for years. My ancestors have been waiting to support me and I now know how to access their love and wisdom. This journey was a wonderful gift to myself. Thank you!
— Jo Agosto, Victor, New York
“I can’t recommend Tirzah’s course more highly.”
I had so many valuable insights from this wonderful course. I can’t recommend Tirzah’s course more highly. The way she weaves her educated knowledge with stories, history, personal sharing, insight, and tenderness is seamless. Although the work is deep and can be uncomfortable, we approached it at a slow pace. I always felt supported. I learned immediate tools for helping family members through their own struggles. I am now able to truly grasp the meaning of “they carry their pain in their DNA.” an insight that opens my heart to being a more aware and empathic human being. I am so grateful to you, The Shift Network and Tirzah, for helping me heal my deep wounds!
— Lisa Mast, Santa Rosa, California
“I gratefully commend her for her approach and care of our experience.”
After taking both of Tirzah Firestone’s ancestral healing courses, I have transformed significantly in my understanding of who I am and where I can go. I found healing and hope. Truly, with Tirzah’s help, I am transforming my wounds into wisdom. With the beautifully crafted experiences she provided, I can continue to heal and focus on my soul’s work. Tirzah takes lofty concepts and makes them practical, which has allowed me deep, personal insights and immediate ways to continue to grow and transform. Rabbi Dr. Tirzah is masterful at creating a safe space. Further, her approachability and desire to have the course meet our needs was powerful and went above and beyond the call of duty. This allowed for an even stronger, more powerful experience. I gratefully commend her for her approach and care of our experience.
— Sarah, Utah
“She created sacred space through which I experienced deep healing.”
I loved this class! For years I felt disconnected from my Jewish lineage and my ancestors. Then I learned that unhealed generational trauma is the source of so much of my fear and pain, and I wanted to heal it. Rabbi Tirzah is learned in genealogy, Jewish mystical spirituality, and energetic healing from many traditions. She created sacred space through which I experienced deep healing. I highly recommend this course!
— Janet, Oakland, California
“We have all experienced positive changes; it has been wonderful.”
I have benefitted so much from this course, identifying both the negative and positive aspects from my family genome, discerning when emotions and reactions are only mine or being picked up as family patterns, and healing violence and abuse from the past that have continued to have a resonance in my life and those of my daughters. We have all experienced positive changes; it has been wonderful.
— Zoe Grace Cozens, France
“... there was a sense of unity of mind and body and love.”
After each session, especially after the practicums, there was a sense of unity of mind and body and love. The course offered insight into wholeness and, most importantly, how to independently live that wholeness through practical applications backed by deep knowledge. This is information that can be tapped throughout one’s lifetime. Tirzah did not hold back and was extremely generous with the wisdom so that the course is something that will keep growing. It’s like a seed was planted and all the water and sun for that seed to grow was shown to be inside myself. This is very valuable indeed. With thanks to Tirzah.
— Jennifer Dressler, India
“Rabbi Dr. Firestone has an amazing way of communicating information and bringing it to life.”
Rabbi Dr. Firestone has an amazing way of communicating information and bringing it to life. Her insights and support of all in attendance in the class and in the community group showed that she truly cared about everyone present. On a personal note, she opened the door and pushed it wide open for me to understand who I am and what ancestral traumas I carry with me (I’m sure there are many more to uncover.) And now I can forgive myself for not living up to my potential for 70+ years and can go forward with strength and focus
